THE BASE EBAUCHE IS THAT OF JLC CAL 889 WHICH IS A CLOCKWISE AND ANTI CLOCKWISE AUTO WINDING ROTOR(650-950 TURN A DAY) WHICH THE CAL 1126 PHOTO SHOWS AS IT HAS THE REVERSER ASSEMBLY(PART 52040) THE TWO SMALL WHEELS AT THE TEN O' CLOCK POSITION.
THE REGULATOR AND BALANCE WHEEL IS THAT USED ON THE JLC 889-AND THE CAL 1126
CALIBRE 1222 SHOWS THE REVERSER ASSEMBLY MISSING(WITH BLANK) WHICH WOULD MAKE THE WINDING ROTOR WORK IN ONE DIRECTION ONLY
ALSO THE BALANCE WHEEL HAS VARIABLE MASS SQUARE SCREWS MAKING IT FREE SPRUNG WITH NO REGULATOR.

I have received a great photo from VC of the movement inside my 2005 VC Overseas which is being serviced (attached) and note the movement though both marked 21C appears to have a different Caliber number to the latest shown on the VC website - 1126/1 vs 1...

1126 1126/1 1226?
Good thread for me as I've always pondered the difference between the Cal 1126 of a few years back the 1126/1 and now the current 1226.

courtesy of The Hour Lounge: As far as the 1126 vs 1126/1 - the latter movement was uprated to 28,800 vph for higher claimed accuracy. It was used, for instance, in the Ref. 47022 Chronometre Royal with COSC certificate. Hope this helps :-) ...
