And what a dial it is! One of the prettiest WG watches on the market: simple, bold, sober, sporty, elegant, 60ies, timeless ... cool 38 mm watch. The only issue here is whether the auto in WG or this one? Thanks for this very atmospheric picture. Regards ...

Arguably some very nice roundings ! Is it a locking gear that the kidney like hole is showing? Seems to me as if, as it is over the main barrel? Recognised the American 1921 in the movie "Wallstreet - money never sleeps": a quite big looking watch ... don... 

but I'm 99% sure it is the click that you see through that kidney hole over the mainspring barrel. This particular 4400 was inside a Patirmony Traditionnelle in white gold. It is a beautiful watch. The American 1921 is fine on my wrist. I never saw the se...  

... I suppose it is more a bad excuse for myself not to consider a purchase, than anything else. Patek's humble 5119 RG, or the 3738 in RG, the Patrimony Contemp. and this one are of the most handsome ones in this metal. It looked quite masculin and nobel... 

But I'm a little biased. Never did see that second Wall Street movie... Oh, and also, just because... Best, respo...

... to rub it in a bit more and make suffering greater for the Count ! I feel very, very much drawn to this VC, no doubt. Like the 1815 from Lange, the Ellipse from Patek: saw them after having seen many other watches and felt instantly familiar with them...

It seems that this model is very well appreciated on The Purists. It only makes me more than happy to share a photo of mine in RG. Photo is not so great, but hopefully I will learn to take great watch photos....
