As for my favorite grand complication, well it may indeed be the one.
I tried the Traditionnelle 14 days Tourbillon which I like as it is beautiful and remains simple in the layout but it is a little too big.
The other grand complication models are much bigger too, even if beautiful too.
Combining complications is one thing. Doing this in a small volume is another.
I'll have a little "bonus" award to the new Harmony Split-Second's caliber which may be the most beautiful from the brand (thought never seen it in the metal yet):

I follow you point about Tourbillons. Some new brands (or even more traditional ones) try to impress and to show they exist by unveiling very visually impressive features.
It is often too much of a show-off but I guess it is a way of expressing watchmaking. It may not be the most refined manner but it may please to some other clients though.
As you do, I like many brands and, especially many different models
whatever the brand is.
