Before buying this, or any preowned Vacheron Constantin that comes without the original box and papers, I suggest that you have the seller give you the case and movement serial numbers so that you can contact VC to ensure that the numbers match their records. VC can also date the watch for you and give you the reference number so that you can do further research.
