Deep Stream
Ok, I have to ask, since I keep seeing references to a particular model of the Overseas called "Deep Stream." I think this refers to the OS with the titanium bezel and anthractie dial (and gray strap). Correct? Where did the name "Deep Stream" come from? I don't think it is official with Vacheron Constantin, is it? Did I miss something?

The name did originate with Vacheron Constantin
when these models first came out, but they ultimately did not want to use it as a marketing name for the stainless steel and titanium cased Overseas models with gray dials. Just to be precise, the "Anthracite" color that VC uses for their rose gold Overse...

Thanks fo rthe info. But still why the name "Deep Stream?' What does it mean? Funny how while VC may have ultimately decided against using it, the name seems to have stuck at least with a number of collectors. Best, respo
Nicknames
It is interesting how nicknames stick even though they are not official. "Lips" was a nickname not used when the Aronde was re-introduced, I guess for reasons of decency ;-)
