I understand that the NY boutique saw 53 watches come in for the process during Madison Avenue Watch Week, ranging from a 1830's Pocketwatch to a Jubile 1755 from 2005. Some of the watches were photographed for inclusion in the Heritage of Vacheron Constantin in America micro-website.
Your impression on the extract is correct....it only confirms that the watches match the information in the archives.

it just shows how much they care for their brand and history which is one of the main selling points of a prestigious manufacture after all. great interview. one of the best, actually, from what i've read so far.
