I am a BIG fan of the Taycan as well from what I have read and seen. Of course we will need to see how it turns out after a bit of time but Porsche has a history of making amazing cars so I have little doubt it will be an amazing addition to their lineup.

Keeping the i8 was a good idea. Big fan of that car as well. Might be interesting to see how people react and what the market will be like moving forward.

I don't drive as much as I used to, since France and the EU are completely different than being in the US (mostly California, Florida, and Texas). If I did, I might consider a Taycan TT but am very content with my model S.

Shamefully I probably drive 1- 2 days a week, if that, and usually less than 100 km total so less use for a car nowadays. That was before COVID-19. Si now it is even less. 🤷‍♂️

Going mostly electric these days. Also bought my wife a Tesla and most days I am on an electric scooter (Dualtron Ultra, Raptor, and Widewheel) 🛴😜

Actually the Tesla Model S has similar rear angles to the Rapide. Technology is changing the world but sometimes the sound of a good old V12s are hard to beat.

I totally agree about the sound, one thing I do miss with all electric but I am no longer a young man so getting older has changed my idea of what I need and what I like...

Of conservative and mid life crisis mode. I was also thinking of the Taycan 4S and was planning to trade in my i8 but then BMW announced discontinuing the i8 in April so I decided to keep it. Here are other rides...now the family all fighting over the G 😂...

Actually Lange is a constant temptation for me, especially the L1. But here I kind of can’t jump over my shadow of being Swiss.... I really couldn’t buy a German watch, although I consider myself much more a citizen of the world than a citizen of Switzerl... 

You're biased, lol...but I do understand watch making is the Pride of Switzerland as the world knows...
