Hi guys Given the high retail price of the 3rd Gen VC OS Chronograph and difficulties in obtaining meaningful discounts (at least in the UK) from ADs, why would anyone buy the 3rd Gen when the 2nd Gen can be bought at a significantly cheaper price in the ... 

Please remember that price and value discussions aren't permitted here. Reasons that some might prefer 3rd general Overseas Chronograph to 2nd generation include but are not limited to: Desire to have the retail experience, build relationship with AD or B... 

Thanks Park. I wasn’t aware but as I’m interested in a VC, I thought perhaps other collectors have thought the same and wanted to get a view.

Overall I just think it's the much better looking watch to my eyes. Feels great on the wrist too.

If you have to ask the price, you can’t afford it. And that's especially true with luxury items. You seem not to be the costumer group VC is targeting. Why not simply stay with your watch?

I have a few watches (including the AP 15202). See picture. I like what I buy and don’t assume anything, Sir. This reveals your lack of manners... ...
