Hello Everyone, I haven't posted since Purist days...hope everyone is well and safe. Here are my UN monopushers in both versions..solid and display. While I have other watches from Patek/AP/etc. these UN Monopusher chronographs are one of the nicest chron...

despite whatever Covid numbers you see/hear, it’s pretty safe, and people still wear masks in 30C+ heat !

MY understanding is that it is 175 pieces in each metal, for the 175th Anniversary version. For the other version, it is indeed not limited in edition, but in production.

I have no idea of how many were made, I tried to know, but I didn't get any information on that. A guess estimate? Around 300 / 500? But we have someone here which worked or still works with Ulysse Nardin who could help us, if he reads us. Best, Nicolas

thank you

I am curious because I have only seen maybe 50 in total for sale over the years. Company can say limited to 175 but sometimes they produce when they get the order except for the initial batch, and then, if there is less demand, they just stop production. ...

btw

I am sorry to hear about your stolen watches from years ago ( I have read it when it happened). my UN is 1X/175. I am sure whenever you see one, it crosses your mind. I had several nice watches stolen too in the past, and I still check once in awhile if t...

Also, here is comparison with Cartier Monopusher

I believe both use the same base movement, and some bridges/plates received different design and finish. So, I do think FPJ (THA) designed the movement like he said in the past, and each company tweaked to make it look like their own movement. ...

Not a true THA design

 By: openworked : August 16th, 2022-15:27
While THA did design the movement in the Cartier Monopusher, the production rights to a dumbed down version was sold to Ulysses Nardin by FPJ as he solely owned the design. One of the missing features is the swivel pin mechanism that reduces chronograph a...
