... when the "Cathedral" was released, it was claimed that the sound of its chime is fuller, louder even. From my memory on the earlier version, I could not confirm that, once that I had the "Cathedral" in my hands. However, during those years, my ears, too, have changed, and is less receptive to higher frequencies.

It didn't need a serious polish, as the case was in very good condition.
Maybe they refreshed it a bit? I can seriously say that the Sonata is a 7 years love story. And I still have it while typing these words, with a smile on my face. Best, Nicolas.

BUt a bit more agressive, too, compared to the " rounder " sound of the first Sonata. But, like you, I tested one of the first released " Cathedral ". Best, Nicolas.
