Superb case size, the dial is top, with two reserves. The eaten 6 due to the second sub dial, and, of course, the date...

go and spoil by putting in things trhat weren't there from the start such as date or "automatic" on the dial!

I have no idea why brands like to put "automatic" on the dial. Does it really help with sales? I don't think so...

When you discuss with dealers, it is far from being so clear. At least brands should keep a few watches without any date display. Fx

The other "improvement" would be a sweep seconds hand mounted on the center post. There is so much to like about this watch. Like Nicolas, with the two changes, this watch would be in my collection. M4

It seems that UN is adding more 'conventional looking' pieces to its range. I guess they should have success with it, since they look decent - whether they will be appealing to Purists remains to be seen, though. I definitely like this one better than the... 

When brands do this they should really consider a small run off shoot to satisfy the more specific desires of the collectors.

Using an existing movement is cheaper than creating one similiar looking for that era?
