Some variations on a Marine Theme.
I must confess a strong weakness for this Marine Theme from Ulysse Nardin.
Three gorgeous dials, featuring some vessels.
Let's start with the Santa Maria:
Now, the HMS Caesar:
And the San Marco Cloisonné Achille:
There were some others, like the Vespucci:
Or the Bounty:
I much prefer the latest Santa Maria or Caesar, but all of these enamel dials are to die for.

What a difficult decision.
I have admired these enamel dialed pieces for years. While I cannot say my favorite, I can say I would enjoy having one of these as part of my small collection. Thanks for all of the great UN posts lately Nico!
I am a big fan of enamel dials. Hence, it is quite logical to consider UN.
There is such a great diversity of dials, dials like those we love.... Still, my heart is taken by the Langematik Anniversary, because of the movement. But these UN dials... Hmmm! Best, Nicolas

I have just been reading about Rolf Schnyder's life....
and particularly what he did with Ulysse Nardin, it is a fascinating story...... rugs to riches really! My interest for UN is growing by the hour:) Cheers, Francois
