She loves the watch!
The colour scheme is perfect for her as she loves blue and white.
I've admired UN for a long time (yes, I'm drooling over Michael's Freak...) and though I have come achingly close to claiming my first Nardin, other "things" kept on cropping up to divert my attention (IWC, Moser, AP, yada, yada...).
So I'm especially proud that I finally got my wife a mechanical watch and that it is a UN no less!
As for the legibility, I don't regret purchasing the watch for my wife's birthday. Would the issue of legibility affected my purchasing decision if I noticed this "problem" sooner? Well, I might have spent a little longer considering other options but at the end of the day, I can pretty confidently say I would have made the same purchase.
