That's what all UN's have for me, is a play between the crystal and the surface of the dial, something magical happens in that small space!!! Thanks for your comment, S
When it first came out it had the clear crystal, and soon after they added the cyclops. The blued hands are so nice on that watch. Glad your brother enjoys it!
I also agree that without the cyclops on the crystal is by far better. I saw both versions in the steel and realized that I liked the earlier serial numbers better. I think the first 1000 (or so) were without the cyclops on the crystal... after that it be...
Making the non-cyclops pieces a bit more unique and desirable. Good for your Brother to have it now, tougher for the rest of us to find one. I suspect UN would replace it with a clear crystal if asked.
