Almost

Hi Marcus,

Decided to come back after quite a while, for good reason, I see. Must have been a few years since then. smile

I almost bought that special 160th watch in 2008, when I was at St. Thomas during a fantastic cruise on the Queen Mary 2. Unfortunately, the cruise required more of my money than expected, so I bought myself instead the wonderful Maxi Marine Diver with grey dial, wich was new on the market at that moment. You may remember, we talked about my purchase some time later. Since then, I wore this Maxi Marine Diver each day, for 12 years (!!!) and she never ever let me down without any service and was good for +/- 2 secs a day, before she finally became running fast, which was the reminder, that it's now time for a service. As nowadays the service costs became so high, it is still waiting on display in the window of my collection. I love this watch, and I never regretted, that I could not afford the 160th Limited.

Best regards,
Christof, the other guy from Salzburg, living in Switzerland for 13 years now ...

A movement dedicated to only one watch, the 160. Replaced a few years after by the Cal 118. Only 1000 made, 500 in white gold, 500 in rose gold. Historical. Best, Nicolas ...

Love seeing this one.
