Actually, I am told the opposite
that not all Freaks were erroneous and hence there are indeed quire a few original Freaks that work perfectly fine. Mine does. In terms of being fragile, if you don;t imerse it in water or drop it, I think for any sort of normal wear, the original Freak will not pose any issues. This is of course hearsay and from my own experience as well.
