Hi everyone,
I tried on a beautiful Classico today in Geneva. It was the same as the first picture in Marcus' November 2009 review ( 8156-111-2/90 with silverised dial and gold indices) except that it had a stainless steel case and a black strap.
It is a beautiful watch, fantastic fit, very affordable and the quality of finish under the loupe was exceptional. I've pretty much made up my mind on it and will hopefully become a proud owner and member of the UN family at the end of the month. I was sent a DVD by UN when I asked for a catalogue a few years ago so will be watching that regularly over the next few weeks to get closer to my future acquisition!
I also noticed that in the original review that Marcus had stated that no steel versions of the Classico were available at the time. Indeed, the web site still doesn't include the model I tried today so the main purpose of my post was to let you know that they now exist (apologies for wasting everyone's time if this is old news). If anyone owns or has owned a Classico and wants to share any information, please let me know.
Thanks
