Anybody can make a world timer. Only UN can make a Moonstruck.

For me it was love at first sight when the original Moonstruck came out about ten years ago. Since then I desired thet watch intensely. Finally two months ago I was able to buy one of the rose gold version.
In my view it is one of the most beautiful fascinating and most poetic watch. The MOP dials around the hand painted enamel earth beautifully recall the image of the skies above earth, with the small swirls of opalescences in the MOP reminds of the clouds in the skies. Complex yet simple in presenting information without distracting from the beauty of the dial. Requiring a little bit of sophistication reading all the information available from the dial from the wearer.
The new edition took all that beauty and poetry away, to render the dial readable to an average person, making it one of the many cookie cutter design world timer and creating an extremely busy, unappealing dial.
Not to sound too snobbish, but a truly astronomical watch is really not for an average watch enthusiast-collector. Only a person well versed in geography and the study of the skies can really appreciate watches that speak to us on a level higher than hours and minutes.
Thanks, Denes
