"It is an ancient Mariner...
Just a fun posting as was at the waterside early this morning and saw/felt the rain rolling in (hence the misty background on the right side of the pic), and thought I'd take a picture of the watch with the background. Turned out ok, I guess, for a phone camera. Watch is not that ancient though!! - but thought the opening words to the poem was kind of nice for the occasion.

P/S - maybe a better opening...
"Veni, vidi, vici. Ulysse Nardin. Conquer the Ocean..." Sounds too much like an ad though...

How funny, just yesterday I was telling my eldest son how we were forced to learn parts of the poem for Year 11 English. Memories of better times when I was young & unjaded.
