I watched it over the weekend, IMO the 3D effect was awesome and they had some hilarious lines in the movie. Did anyone here see it? Watcha think? Comic book fans did you recognize the dog and or the duck? -MW...  

about where the origins of this movie came from... then again..we have not been ontop of the movie or superhero scene... bunch of boys wanted to see it..and many parents took them...with my two girls..no go..

When we went there a lot of kids, I thought they were too young for some of the language and certain scenes. Guardians of the Galaxy is based off of Marvel's comic book that wasn't all that popular. I think my bro had one of those Rocket Raccoon comics bu... 

I read Marvel comics as a young man but not these. The narrative was not hard to follow although there were a lot of characters thrown at the audience in the first few minutes. The theme was the trumping of greed and hunger for power by love and duty, not... 

It was 122 minutes according to TCL but the movie didn't drag on. Did you stick around for the last scene after the credits? -MW

I had to miss a few of the credits, but I got back to the theater to watch the end. I got to see the no raccoons and whatever were injured line, and I saw the Howard the Duck scene at the very end. I had read a couple of Howard the Duck (am I remembering ...
