Enjoy the pictures of this R8 LMS car taking part in the 2010 Endurance 12Hr MME Race at Sepang Circuit, Malaysia (Aug 2010). The race starts at 12midnite and ends at 12noon the next day.

This is the 1st asian debut of the R8 LMS and it achieved a podium position of 2nd place on the first outing.

We start with the moment that nearly ended the race before it even started, here is the R8 LMS catching fire in the pits just before the grid lineup. Team Joest repaired the car and sorted it out in double quicktime for it to make it to the grid and the podium finish 12hrs later.

Endurance and reliability........R8 LMS takes the cake man after seeing the car catch fire in front of us and finish the race 12hrs later on the podium
