Living in a condo I can't push the volume enough for my liking. My car is my music box but maybe I should consider a good headset.
I hardly ever listen to "rock," preferring jazz, fado, klezmer, classical music, etc.
But I have always loved Pink Floyd for their very unique creativity. In the 50th anniversary edition of “Wish you were here”, there’s a take of the song with jazz violinist Stéphane Grappelli: not major at all, but funny and a nice vestige from the record...
Fado is the Portuguese folk song, accompanied by two guitars,
one ordinary, playing the bass and the other, specifically Portuguese, playing the melodic flourishes. Klezmer is the instrumental musical tradition of the Ashkenazi Jews of Central and Eastern Europe.

I lived in Cyprus for three years, had an MX-5, roof down, at night with Pink Floyd on, fantastic, especially this track and that intro. Often repeated.
