That first one takes most of its design ques from production Peugeot cars, other than the long hood has not much in common with Mercedes. And there are and have been lots of cars with long hoods.
If you have seen any recent Peugeot you will know that that is a Peugeot without a doubt, even without seeing the lion.

Well. I´ve never been a big fan of Peugeot cars, but...

one is SLR-ish, and the other one is Veryron-ish. they need to come with other style that completely different. not copying others character and uniqueness.
