I completely agree Arie, but ...
I already have seven nice pens. With booklets, inner boxes, outer boxes, warranty cards, etc. All the silliness that goes along with collectibles. 
Thankfully I still had the user manual for my Visconti or I wouldn't have been able to refill it tonight. Waterman Violet is the color I chose - a hangover from the glory days in our publishing company. The top editor (me for a few years) used a purple pen to distinguish my comments from the "red ink" used by all the other proofreaders and managers.

Who works for an ink company near Bath in the UK and it is a constant quest for firms to produce a better blacker black ink...!!! Used in pens and photocopiers to look and feel better....I kid you not Andy.

Might even consider something like a Lamy 2000 as a reasonable quality starter pen and see how it feels..? Andy.
Ha ha...nothing wrong with that....
Looks like the only one in the range the same price bracket as the Lamy 2000 is the Pelikan M215 which looks much better but the specs are both very different with the Lamy winning. Will try some out soon, Andy.
