It will be awhile before we learn whether this location will fill such a large facility. The newspaper articles about this project promote it and also say the "water park” (2 pools and a slide) will be open to the public who want to purchase a daily pass. However, parking in the facility is $50-65 a day, guest rooms run $500-1000 a night and meals about $500 a day for a family of 4. I doubt Chula Vista folk will pay to play here; this is not La Jolla...
