Helen König Scavini
While browsing the IG account of a watch collector known as @uarrumigiul, I came across this photo and wanted to know who had created this charming ceramic piece.
Helen (Elena) König Scavini (1886-1974) was an Italian ceramic artist.
She founded the Ars Lenci brand in 1919 in Turin and is best known for her ceramic dolls, some examples of which are shown below.

NELLA SEDUTA - In the session (“seduta” also means “sitting” - 1932)
PRIMO ROMANZO - First novel (ca 1932)
MATERNITÀ - Maternity (1933)
AL CAFFÈ - At the coffee shop (1930)
