In our house back in Europe we got one of those US made library style armchairs I belief it’s called Berkeley or Princeton chairs.
Ours is in cloth not leather but it’s the type of chair in which you read, eat, sleep and feel happy.
And made the old fashioned way: it will last forever. We’ve got it already 20 years and we bought it as a used chair so it’s minimum 50 years old

Harder to find than I would have guessed. Many chairs, some comfortable and some good looking, but rarely both.

and the best you can open it and it serves as a bed (not kidding),funny what kind of things you can find on the my upholsterer is also a superstar but still.
