Holds shape well. Got 4 rubber feet and bottom has a hard insert. Not well padded. A few pockets but not dividers. As I said I won't use it as a computer bag. It is perfect for paper and iPad and accessories.  Amazing.

Have you considered a wheeled brief for your next carry-around? I wouldn't wanna drop all that fragile stuff or have any of it damaged by knocks. I have a few wheel-aways I use for when I'm on out and about with my PC and other gear, a couple of Tumis and...

I got a big Tumi alpha wheeled bag which has a small computer bag inside. it is good for a day trip. good for long distance with a suit case. hard to put clothes in it. I can use the tote for an overnight trip. I have a bigger duffel bag and small carryou...

I won't carry the laptop everyday. Mainly for the two tablets and paper. It will last for years. I won't need another bag for a long time.
