Copenhagen— Day 3
Today was a shopping day — with little precipitation and few photos. The one below is from the Amagertorv — square - - in central Copenhagen. The spire behind the statue marks the Parliament.
I looked again at the Grand Seiko SBGY035, in part, to get clarity on the price with the VAT deduction. Now that I understand that calculation, I am baffled by the duty that will be applied when I return to the USA. I am being super careful.
While sorting out that, at the watch store, I looked at several Nomos Club watches. I was a bit underwhelmed.

First of all, cool shot 👌🏻👍🏻 As for the Nomos, what about it didn’t sit right with you? The Club in particular don’t fit all wrists, so maybe try some other models as well?
Great questions — the issue probably was they were being compared to a Grand Seiko one counter over. The movement on the GS winds so smoothly, flawlessly…

When it comes to finishing at a certain price point it really is difficult to compete with GS and cross shopping will not go well for the other brand. I never bought another watch if I went to an AD or Boutique with a GS on the wrist 😊🤷🏻♂️😂 ...
