Thanks for the pics AndrewD! Interesting bike, cool with the copper lines. I understand that the Art One is a tribute to a 1937 HD model U and inspired by Marlon Brando's 'Wild One' movie bike, a Triumph Thunderbird. The Art Two bike is a flat Head motor....

That pistol shaped engine in the second last photo is the Flame Eater. Slightly different principle to the Sterling engine, with an external heat source, but oh-so-nice. Would almost be a shame to light the wick...but could you resist? :-) I have a little... 

The vacuum engines make a fantastic noise ...

A little tricky to get the engine warm and the flame in just the right position, but once you do they are great to watch and listen to. Please dig out your boat. I feel a model engine thread coming on ... Andrew
