. . . at Utah on D-Day. The village of Saint-Marie-du-Mont made him an honorary citizen just before he passed away ten years ago, and named a roadway in his memory. Truly, the greatest . . . . . . generation. ...  

. . . (which was how his friends called him) was taken on Utah beach at the 65th anniversary celebration. He passed away not long after that photo was taken. Art
