I like to have a variety on hand, but there are a few that are real workhorses.
Noodlers makes a lot of specialty inks and some striking colors. Quick drying inks are a useful specialty. But when I need to place another order it'll be for their permanent inks, red, green, and black or blue. Doing one's finances in these inks confers immense safety; the check'll wash away before the ink does. Apparently the ink bonds chemically with a component of the paper.
I love the color of Private Reserve Tanzanite ink. It is a little off the curve for business use, but I used it unabashedly up to my retirement. It is a little slow drying, so the user has to be a fountain pen person to get good use out of it. Private Reserve has a range of rich and interesting colors.
