Almost like children
The blue scrub jay does everything except knock on our window to get attention "WHERE'S MY BREAKFAST?"
Not even afraid when my wife comes out and fills the bird dishes
He starts always with oatmeal then flips around to check out the seeds, before she even comes back in the house
and he dives into the dish.
Just a few feet away is by his own choice -- when she is working in the back yard Jay even hopped over next to her, watching just in case she digs up something tasty.
Meanwhile I was walking nervously outside the Endodontist (translated it means Groan, Moan, Ouch!) and distracting myself by trying to take pictures of tall buildings, like Filip
This is more my style of neighborhood and photo, just another 100 feet away.

But today after one X-ray, then another -- five minutes later the doc said, "You're good, go home". Yay!

My wife has a wreath/basket on the wall right ouside the front door. I seems to attract doves, twice this year we have had a nest in it. It is fun to watch the progress since it is literally just on the other side of the floor to ceiling glass next to the...
They seem quite comfortable there.
The nest is currently empty, kinda hoping we get new neighbors soon, fun to watch.
Our birds come in waves too
Mostly in early and mid-morning; sometimes in late afternoon. They are very fun to watch and give real meaning to the term “pecking order”. Mike
