Heuer Cortina - the relatively less well known all steel watch from the 1970s
Browsing watch related topics last night, I came across a watch that looked like a classic of the first all steel, integrated bracelet decade of the 1970s but was neither as well known, or as widely spread as the 'top 4' from the pens of Genta or Hysek. Speaking about the first generation Heuer Cortina, which was launched to increase Heuer's presence amongst winter sport loving customers, who seemingly did not go as strongly for the motor sport inspired lines.
Produced from 1977 till the early 1980s in three versions (white dial with Roman numerals (110.233R), black dial with black on white date wheel (110.233NC), black dial with red on white date wheel), all powered by the classic Cal. 12 movement and using some classic Heuer hands and hour markers of the era.

The case is octagonal, while the dial is round. The bracelet is perhaps not as exciting as the others from the era (very simple single links) and there is no safety clasp.
Wondering if any Purists have one and any live pictures or experiences would be very interesting
Thanks for viewing!
