Some nice surprises
One thing I love about our community here is the sheer number of very nice people we meet along the way and the help and support we can always count on.
In recent months, a simple favour for a true Purist turned up a very unexpected and pleasant surprise when I received this watch. Beautiful condition, accurate and really something that falls within my taste. Beyond that is the reflection of friendship that has been built.
A very nice mid 60s (I believe) Seiko DX...makes for a solid daily wear despite it being older than I am. I swapped out the original link bracelet to a strap (I am more of a strap guy) but mostly because I kept struggling with the clasp when trying to get it open. That's now nicely wrapped up in my safe.
Love the gesture, and I appreciate the friendship more.
This has been on my wrist for the last 3 weeks or so, and hasn't even made way for the blue enamel yet
