Sharing and old love

Hello dear Purists.

Today I want to share with you one of my first vintage alarm watches. It is a Seiko 4006-7029.

At first sight, the dial is black, but when you see it closely, it is a beautiful anthracite gray with vertical brushing. It came with a coffin link bracelet which I didn’t like at first, but have become acquainted with.

The alarm is not very loud, but has a nice bell like sound.

The case seems to be in excellent condition.

Best regards.

René

It is funny they were expensive when they came out, now you can get them very cheap. But beware of the franken ones! Cheers. René

Very nice - great to see a Bellmatic here

I like the fumeé dial of yours! Seiko Bell-Matics are a family that should be better appreciated by vintage alarm collectors. And I have 5! Best. René

Thanks - can't disagree with you!

A group shot from a while back - an alarm is my favourite complication. Always looking for other interesting ones. Cheers JML ...

Thanks for sharing!

Very nice group shot! I also think that the alarm is one of the more romantic and useful complication. Sometimes when the meeting is getting boring and long, I make the alarm sound and excuse myself: sorry, I have to call home Nobody has said anything yet...

Now that's a great idea! ;-)

Wish I'd thought of that. Cheers JML
