The SBGW033 is a reissue to the original Grand Seiko from 1960. It was released in 2011 for the 130th anniversary of Seiko. Produced in steel, yellow gold and platinum with a 36mm case.

I have owned some very special pieces from GS over the years but this still remains my favourite.

I wish that I would have been able to buy one new but I did not know about it at the time.

This is my favourite of the several reissues, primarily due to the size.

I had the SBGW253 and sold it because I preferred the smaller 36mm compared to the 38mm.
