Samurai

A couple of pics for Cazalea of my Samurais from 2007. Still tickin'. Need to be serviced. Running a bit fast.

This orange one originally came with a black rubber strap.

This one comes with a bracelet. It's a looker. Amazingly it attracts more attention than the orange one. What I love about the Samurai is that everything is in proportion... from the thickness of the markers to the indicies to the hands down to even the bezel. Everything just seems to be evenly spaced. I love the lugs on this one as well. Back in the day, this Samurai sort of numbed my desire to get a Pam000. The size is almost as big and it definitely had wrist presence. The white indices just pops in contrast with the black dial.

Not exactly a GS but it's probably the best looking with a Seiko 5 movement (And there is a LOT).

The black dial is one I did not chase, for whatever reason. I noticed lots of differences between the colors - the dial is hobnail on the white watch and does not say SCUBA steel cases do not have crown guards like the titanium ones hands are black or dar...

lots of little differences across the same piece! which i don't really get... i mean even different hands right? i think what adds to the presence on the wrist is the particular thickness of the numbers/markers on the bezel. it just gives off the right am...
