Seiko

Not sure what the point is

But it seems I really did rub you the wrong way. In hindsight, these are enthusiast forums and passions run high, I should have considered that before describing the Pepsi so harshly, my apologies to you sir if that upset you.

That aside, this particular GS is not meant as a competitor to the Pepsi, that would probably be this watch:

The comparison is a good one.

Regarding the size, this particular model compares to my Deep Sea lug to lug more so the Pepsi.

Regarding the finishing quality, my point was not meant to describe the amount of shine, rather the polishing quality. If you do get to experience this or any other GS you will notice the polished portions have a true mirror reflection whereas Rolex tool watches such as the Pepsi have a distorted image. Both models have brushed portions, the GS has a finer hand finished grain that I have not seen on any watch below 20k.

The bezel on the GS is luminous, and asymmetrical to indicate actual AM/PM. This is a polarizing aspect of the watch that I am still undecided on myself. The Pepsi bezel is the best in the business no doubt, especially with the platinum adding a touch of luxury ( even if it’s not matched with the case)

Overall this is not an apples to apples comparison, but in my perspective the GS offers more per dollar than any other luxury watch, not unlike a Lexus, whereas an Audi will always have more character. Different strokes...
