Never trust photos!

When I reviewed the β€œIce Forest at Dawn” Spring Drive U.F.A. SLGB006 two weeks ago, the photos from Monochrome like the one below, gave me the impression that the indices, especially the one at 12 o'clock, and the hour hand were too fat and disgraceful.

But when I finally held the watch in my hands, my impression was completely different.

No, the hour markers and hour hand aren't too thick: they certainly have a strong presence on the dial, but they're much more subtle and harmonious than any photo can show (even mine, of course).

I primarily thought that I would prefer the thinner markers and hour hand of a watch like ref. SBGH368.

But it didn't turn out this way: I much prefer the SLGB006, which is a very beautiful watch, by the way.

Just so that you can also see the U.F.A. caliber 9RB2, even if there's nothing spectacular to see...

... as the true star of the show is really the dial!

Thanks for looking.

Best, Emmanuel
