Grand Seiko 6145-8000
As far as I remember, it was a 10 years wait until I find a Grand Seiko exactly the way I wanted. Then it came this impecable 6145-8000. Exactly what I wanted, as I really appreciate the 61xx series of calibers. The 6145 is even more appealing to me than the day-date 6146. And the 8000 case is just the perfect example of the Grammar of Design.
Not even close to be the most expensive piece in my collection, but one of the most valuable in every term.
The clasp is a modern one, but a perfect fit.
Cheers,
Adriano

Definitely on my to get list for GS! Both because of the history and the high beat movement. Twice I was just a bit too late but maybe in 2016. You have a wonderful specimen. How does it work with the deployant?
