Really gives the true feel of "blue" Ken ...  

Really like it and it\'s nice to see a wrist shot. Do I remember correctly that the case is 42mm, making it one of the larger GSs? How does it wear? The blue strap complements it very well, too!

.. and I kinda wish it were a bit smaller. BUT, with this navy blue leather strap, total balance is much better. I am glad I changed it from bracelet to this aftermarket strap Now this has become one of my daily beaters! Ken

Thought that it did not come on a strap as standard. But it complements it very well - hope GS gets a bit more adventurous with strap choices at some point

... a guy sitting next to me who works with me - an avid watch lover and a collector of high-end watches - always says he WANTS to own a Grand Seiko or two, but the DESIGN does not get there to attract his attention, even most from my vintage collection. ... 

I had assumed that the relatively large case would be too big but it looks great on your wrist. Congrats on a fine piece. Regards Ian

My wrist is merely 16.5mm, so this one may be a bit large side. But with this thick nave strap, all worries go away. It became a really cool watch! Ken

What a surprise to see this modern GS on your wrist. I could not imagine you would choose this one. It seems to fit perfectly on your wrist, despite case size. The patern on dial does not seem to be so visible. As usual this GS dial is very subtle, very c... 

I found out about the size after I made pre-order Just liked the color and no-date simplicity. And I kinda knew it would go quite well with the nave leather strap more than the standard bracelet. Great color dial, and no-date is really a "bonus" ) Ken

. . . the SBGR097 was too large for me to consider*. The bad news is that it's probably a harbinger of a classically sized model to come. Can you imagine GS 44 with a similar blue (or urushi black) dial? That would be a must-have. Art * We share the same ... 

.. the case of the 44GS, 45GS and alike - that is one of the most beautiful cases out there. And yeah, blue dial? That would be really really nice.... A killer, indeed. I normally don't like larger than 40mm watches, but some don't wear too big on my wris...
