Did you know that Gerald Genta designed early Credor?
Here is one of them....
Clearly it has Genta DNA on the bezel as well as the bracelet structure.
Mysterious color reflection.
Just the right size for me.
The crown top is has the same hexagonal hole as the bezel screws.
One thing a bit short of highest praise is that it is quartz.....
Nonetheless, a beautiful Credor from 79.

.. but I have seen it on the used market only twice. So, I guess the quantity is really small. I wish your friend luck.....

Nah, it's quartz, and priced like, back then, USD1500 or so.
But important thing to remember is that SEIKO paid "fair price" for his design - the more they sell, the more Genta would be paid. So, SEIKO worked with Genta on so many models that, in a way, Genta could establish his own brand thanks to the works with S...
