I didn't know that and it always amazes me all the watch brands that have the footprint of Genta. Thanks for sharing this cool watch. The dial looks like it has a really interesting treatment.

The textured surface looks remarkably like the dial of the my Gefica Safari ...  

Same hour/second hand DNA.. The influence is definitely strong for the hands, the strap, the screws... Such a brilliant master Genta was - there could only be one ...  

... so much missed.....

I wonder if he had anything to do with this. Got this in the late '70s and has a Royal Oak look to it. Bob ...

But important thing to remember is that SEIKO paid "fair price" for his design - the more they sell, the more Genta would be paid. So, SEIKO worked with Genta on so many models that, in a way, Genta could establish his own brand thanks to the works with S...
