Seiko

My Seiko Black Turtle is due with me in the next few days. I would like to buy a NATO black strap for it. Any ideas would be helpful Thanks ...

I wore NATO in the early days of my military service. I learned quickly that in highly active environments, NATO straps stain from sweat and collect dead skin that you have to clean regularly or it starts itch and smell. I'm sure for casual wear, it's not... 

Told to me by a neighbor who works for NOAA (Naval Oceanographic and Atmospheric Agency). He had been to all 7 oceans in 15 years by ship, and his Seiko diver needed a service. Plus, the strap was truly disgusting. I asked if I could replace it, and he sa... 

That said, I love my circa 1985 Seiko “Arnies,” Come to think of it, I had an Army buddy who lost his Arnie on a military parachute jump. Not sure what happened, but I never jumped with mine after that.
