Only that I am grumpy that I wasn't on the guest list ;-) I wish they would host such an event in the U.S. But for a very few die-hards, the brand is still an extreme niche product. That, of course, makes it even more attractive to me.

Me too - this is my kind of niche product

I agree...

I wonder if Casey got a chance to visit this place :) Thanks for putting this together, Ken. Very informative and helpful!

The invitation was extended to...

 By: KIH : July 1st, 2014-10:36
.. only those who bought GS from AD - and I couldn't invite Casey... Must have lunch with him sometime soon.... Yes, very comprehensive exhibition of GS. Ken

Looks like they take it very serious ...

Seiko continues to impress

Great report, Ken! Loved seeing the historical pieces alongside the modern releases. The 61GS is beautiful. Maybe Seiko's most complete GS! I wonder if Seiko would ever consider selling serviced vintage pieces, like Vacheron does in NYC, in their boutique...

True...

 By: KIH : July 1st, 2014-10:38
.. 61GS case is the most sophisticated (for the lack of the better words) in the line-up for an automatic watch. 44GS and 45GS are also my favorite case... Yeah, what a great vintage calculator watch!! Ken

Truly beautiful and amazing report dear Ken

Thanks, my friend...

 By: KIH : July 1st, 2014-10:39
.. that vintage calculator watch is so cool, although I am not sure if it is really usable... :-) A very nice one! Thanks, Damjan! Ken

Well, if I have business trip plan...

 By: KIH : July 1st, 2014-10:40

What a Great Event and Fantastic Display, you're so kind Ken to share it with us and a Big Thank You. The most stand out pieces for me are the New Divers and I asked about them in March and our very own Dr. MTF was kind and gracious enough to ask Seiko...

Hahaha...

 By: KIH : July 1st, 2014-10:41
... even my AD was surprised because it was supposed to go on sale in August :-) Brands tend to be tight lip about these things.... Thanks, Salman! Ken

Regarding the diver

. . . you had to show us a watch I didn't know about. That TV-screen '73 vintage GS with a blue dial is gorgeous; hard to believe I've never come across it before. Perhaps a re-issue is in the works? :-) Wonderful reporting, Ken, and many thanks for bring...

I agree....

 By: KIH : July 1st, 2014-10:42

 By: Dr No : July 1st, 2014-10:52
