I recently had a lovely trip to the new Boutique in Bond Street to see the limited edition SBGY029.

I had the pleasure of comparing it with my friend's own SBGY003. I couldn't honestly say which I prefer. The 029 seems a little warmer and more relaxed with its creamy ivory dial paired with a brown strap and flowing curves on the dial. The 003 seems a little more formal with its silvery dial paired with black alligator strap and rigid straight lines on the dial.

My friend wears his 003 well with his suit and tie, and I like to think the 029 will complement my relaxed chinos and casual shirt stylel.

I also tried on the SBGY 007 Omiwatari once more.

Between the two, I decided to snap up the 029 now, with a view to adding the 007 sometime next year. Two watches with different personalities, despite identical cases, hands, and movements.
