I didn't try it with the clasp closed, but it felt fine draped on my wrist. The rice beeds alternate polished and brushed, I think. The AD confirmed that it would be easy enough to put it on a leather strap, which would probably be my own personal preference.

I only wish the lugs were a tiny bit longer, but other than that this is one of Grand Seiko's most appealing designs to date. How is the bracelet on the 013?

I can vouch for the simplicity and brilliance of the SBGY003. And of course the smooth sweep of the seconds hand is mesmerizing.
