I wanted to present some of my vintage pieces from the 60s-70s. Seiko Lord Marvel 15027E from 1963 : I love that piece because of its simplicity. Reliable, elegant and very classy with its rhodium-plated hands and indexes. Grand Seiko 4522-8000 from 1970 ...  

in your humble opinion is the seiko marvel a possible alternative to the grand seiko first? In terms aesthetics and wear? 🙏

To be honest i bought it 4 years ago because i had no money to buy the GS first. I had the first in my hands since.. and I really prefer the Lord Marvel. The movement is so reliable, I've never had a problem with this watch. Also the dials on the First te...

If you want a good alternative to the GS First you can look for a Lord Marvel j14038 (here are two pictures of the SS and Gold-plated versions) ...
