Deep Sea Dweller v Sea Dweller?
Can some Rolex expert please explain whats the difference with the Deep Sea Dweller and the newly launched Sea Dweller 4000?
There is a small price difference and obviously the size, but why would they launch a new sea dweller? Furthermore, the new sea dweller is resistant to 4000m, whereas the Deep Sea Dweller is resistant to 3900m. Wouldn't that mean that the new Sea Dweller 4000 is better constructed and hence, should also command a higher price?
However, the new Sea Dweller 4000 is price slightly cheaper.
Can somebody please explain the differences between the 2 and the significance of it?

DSSD vs SD4000
By: TS1987 : August 2nd, 2014-03:16
The differences are the case dimensions as well as the depth rating. The new SD4000 gained a homage "Milsub" bezel with full demarcation instead of 0-15 and then 5 minute increments as featured on all previous SD models. You also cop the rehaut on the Dee...

Thank you all for the advice. It did help me clear up some doubts on what I wanted. It is such a tough decision to make, especially when these 2 models are so similar, but also starkly different in many ways! Thank you fellow Rolex enthusiasts! HAGWE!
